WELCOME TO THE ALMENDE-SENSE TECH BLOG
Almende is active in multiple projects concerning Wireless Sensor Networks, or more general, distributed systems sensing the world to create some form of situational awareness. While Almende has a daughter company bringing this technology to the market, Sense, research remains an important activity. This blog is devoted to reporting the interesting developments in the various projects that Almende is active in. Almende offers a MSc-level internship in the field of wireless sensor networks. The internship focuses on distributed multi-modal sensor fusion, pattern recognition and machine learning in the field of wireless sensor networks. The internship includes the opportunity to investigate existing algorithms, adapting them so they fit the distributed and resource-constrained nature of wireless sensor networks or creating your own algorithms. Additionally, there is the opportunity to implement the results on an operational WSN framework, and to test it in two use cases in the Dutch research projects ALwEN and STORM.
